Mobile Banking Service
Mobile Banking Service (MBS), is an innovation that provides banking convenience to Smart Buddy, Smart Gold and Infinity subscribers in a safe and secure way. MBS allows subscribers to manage their enrolled accounts using the Smart Mobile Banking Menu.
In partnerships with banks and bank networks, MBS is offered as an alternative delivery channel to enable both SMART and BANK customers to perform financial transactions and card management using a mobile phone. Through this service, subscribers are allowed to access and manage their enrolled accounts using the Smart Mobile Banking Menu.
Clients will be able to do their banking transactions anytime, anywhere.
It is safe, secure and reliable. This can be accessed through the Mobile Banking menu found in the SIMs of Smart Buddy, Smart Gold and Infinity. (No need to memorize any keyword)
The Mobile PIN or m-PIN together with Smart Super SIM encryption ensures that transactions are limited to the account holders and are invulnerable to hacking.

How do I activate this service?
There are two ways to activate the Mobile Banking service on your Smart Mobile Phone:
Via m-PIN - Smart subscriber should contact his bank for procedures in securing the m-PIN which will be used in activating Mobile Banking Service on the mobile phone.
Via ATM-PIN – Smart subscriber may directly activate Mobile Banking on his mobile phone using the ATM-PIN of his/her bank account.
The option for the use of an m-PIN or ATM-PIN when activating mobile banking will depend on the Bank to which an account is being activated. Banks under both activation process are listed below.

To activate MBS thru ATM-PIN, subscriber must do the following:
Step 1: Go to Smart Menu and select Mobile Banking
Step 2: Select Activate Bank and press OK
Step 3: Select ATM-PIN to activate your Bank, press OK
Step 4: Enter bank code (see list of ATM-PIN Banks provided)
Step 5: Enter your ATM card number and press OK
Step 6: Confirm activation by pressing OK
Step 7: Enter ATM-PIN, press OK
Step 8: You will receive an SMS confirming the activation
Step 9: The name of the bank will be displayed in the Mobile Banking sub-menu
Step 10: Call your bank branch to inform them that Mobile Banking was activated
Step 11: Mobile Banking should be activated within one day
