Installation 

Q: What are the System Requirements to run QuickSolutions?

A: QuickSolutions requires Microsoft Windows ME/NT/2000/XP to run successfully on the user’s pc. At the moment, QuickSolutions can only run on Windows-based platforms. Aside from this, the user’s computer should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Intel™ Pentium II processor (or higher)
  • At least 256 MB RAM (or higher)
  • LAN Card 
  • At least 10 GB hard disk space

Q: How do I install QuickSolutions?  

A: You will need to click on the download button above and save the installer file on to your local disk. Double-click on the downloaded to launch the installation. Follow the installation procedures.

Q: Do I need to register and/or activate QuickSolutions similar to QuickFix?

A: Unlike QuickFix, you will no longer be required to register and/or activate QuickSolutions. This is to enable you to use the software even without an internet connection.

Q: What is the difference between QuickSolutions and QuickFix?

A: Aside from the new look and feel, QuickFix 2.1 also allows the user to view a more accurate diagnostic capability compared to QuickFix 2.

Q: How do I know if I have the latest version of QuickSolutions?   

A: The current version of QuickSolutions is displayed on the main screen.  During start-up, the application checks our server if there is new release , then the user is prompt to download the latest updates.

Q: How do I diagnose my SMART Bro Internet connection?

A: Your SMART Bro Internet connection can be diagnosed by clicking on the “CHECK MY CONNECTION” button. This will allow QuickSolutions to diagnose parts of your Smart BRO connection, and troubleshoot basic connection problems.

A: There are certain advanced features present in QuickSolutions, such as Latency and Bandwidth Meter. You may opt to use any of the advanced options available by clicking the appropriate button from the main window

Troubleshooting QuickSolutions  

Q: What do I do when an error message appears on the computer screen?

A: Should an error message appear during diagnosis, you should follow the instructions displayed on-screen. Should you opt to speak to a hotline agent, simply provide the error code displayed on the bottom part of the diagnostic window to reduce transaction time. Please see sample below:

A: For concerns on downloading, installing, or using QuickSolutions, users may call the Smart Bro Hotline. (For Metro Manila subscribers, dial 888-1111 from your landline. For provincial subscribers, SMART, Talk N' Text, & Addict Mobile phones, dial *888. You could also submit a help ticket via my.Smart.)
