[07 August 2012] Tired of keeping phone conversations short so you could save on load? With Smart’s TriNet Unli 40, you can now make unlimited calls and texts to any Smart, Talk ‘N Text, or Sun Cellular subscriber for just P40 a day.

You can even check your Facebook account to see your friends’ latest posts, make comments, add friends, and post status updates, as TriNet Unli 40 also gives you unlimited Facebook access for one day.

“Smart helps you make your P40 go a long way. With this amount, you can already connect with more than 50 million Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers and 16 million Sun subscribers. You can chat with loved ones and make important business calls without worrying that your load would be eaten up,” said Smart mobile marketing head Mellissa Limcaoco.

If you’re a Smart prepaid subscriber, you may avail yourself of the TriNet Unli 40 service by texting TRINET40 to 2949.

To make unlimited calls, you must dial *2949 followed by the 11-digit Smart, TNT, or Sun number of the person you wish to talk to (For example: *294909181234567). Calls are allowed any time of the day.

For unlimited Facebook access, you must text FB to 211. The SMS is free of charge.

Once you’ve done this, you will receive an SMS containing the download link of a Facebook mobile application that runs on Java-capable phones and non-smartphones.

“What makes TriNet Unli 40 better than other unli promos is Smart’s superior network. You can call, text, and surf Facebook without fretting about unreliable network coverage,” Limcaoco said.

“Now that Smart has completed the upgrade of its mobile network, you can rest assured that your calls will be connected, your text messages will arrive on time, and you can surf Facebook at reasonable speeds,” she added.

Smart has completed the installation and optimization of new base station equipment, increasing the network’s capacity to handle voice, text messaging, and mobile broadband services.

Smart’s base stations all over the country are now easily upgradeable to fourth-generation technologies like HSPA+ and LTE, which will enable Smart to offer high-speed mobile broadband in more parts of the country.
